HeartEdge - Ascension, Hulme Hub Church

Manchester diocese has been successful in a bid for £5.3 million from the Church Commissioners’ 'Strategic Development Fund'. The bid aims to develop projects that will grow a younger and more diverse church, particularly in areas of high deprivation. Read more about the projects here including a new collaboration with HeartEdge.

HeartEdge is one of three new interventions over five years, aiming to reach people under 40. The plan involves a new Hub Church in the existing parish church of The Ascension, Hulme, in partnership with St Martin-in-the-Fields and HeartEdge.

HeartEdge are excited at the opportunity the project represents and prospect of working with others involved. Collaborators include the Diocese of Manchester, St Ann's Church Manchester, Sacred Trinity Salford, and Revd Azariah France-Williams, the pioneer priest who will lead The Ascension, Hulme Hub Church.
