Let's Talk about Death and Living Well with Grief

Today we begin a four week series of Friday afternoon workshops at 4.30pm in October entitled Let's Talk about Death and Living Well with Grief. Register for the first session to receive a zoom invitation at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lets-talk-about-dying-and-being-with-the-dying-tickets-121558150701

The series starts through a conversation with palliative care doctor and best-selling author Dr Kathyrn Mannix campaigning for better public understanding of dying.

Kathryn Mannix worked as a palliative care doctor in hospices, hospitals and people's own homes for 30 years before taking early retirement to campaign for better public understanding of dying. Her book about the way people live while they are dying, With the End in Mind (William Collins 2017) was short-listed for the Wellcome Book Prize and became an unexpected best seller. She is still getting over her surprise.

Kathyrn Mannix will speak for 20 minutes followed by a conversation with Revd Catherine Duce from HeartEdge. There will then be time for Q&A. Church practitioners will have the opportunity to talk about dying and how to be with people who are dying in their ministry and personal lives.
