Edge Lab: Commerce in Context

Service Description

Commerce is one of the HeartEdge four Cs (along with culture, compassion and congregational life). What does that mean in your church context? Are you discovering ways to generate income from church assets or activities? Have you set up a profitable business or social enterprise? Would you like to? How might you start? This Edge Lab will explore how churches might set about identifying and responding to commercial opportunities in their local context, whether that’s city centre, rural village or something in between. It will be realistic about the challenges and seek practical solutions. Like all Edge Labs, it is not a ‘how to’ course, but an opportunity to join others on a journey of discovery and learning together, drawing on the experience in the room and beyond (if needed). We will start with two sessions and see how long the group wants to continue.
