Edge Lab: Slow Ministry
What might a shift away from burnout culture look like, and what system changes would there need be?
Are you feeling the need to slow down, delve deeper into your personal rhythms, and challenge some of the system demands from organisational life? Then our upcoming Edge Lab on "Slow Ministry" is for you! Not that we have all the answers. We invite you to explore the value of pace and depth, which is often overlooked. This is partly about finding actionable experiments and asking questions that challenge the norm. Are you struggling with the culture of 'more is better,' constant busyness, or the paradox of high activity but low impact? If so, you are not alone. Join us in this collaborative space as we redefine some of the rules, values and metrics behind what success looks like, question the relentless demand for 'more,' and explore the potential of 'less but better.' Together, we will co-create experiments to nurture personal wellbeing and a healthier organisational culture – which may or may not fall under our influence (which might be an exciting avenue for exploration, nevertheless). Imagine what a shift from speed to depth could unlock for you and your community. Come curious, and leave inspired! We will start with two sessions and see how long the group wants to continue.
Please give us at least two days' notice if you need to cancel.
